things do come around, but some things still trouble me

today i came home to a medium sized white envelope accompanied with inner bubble wrap, and a how i met your mother quote written in blue sharpie on the back. needless to say, i was excited. inside held a journal that had one hell of a beating, a letter, a feathered earring and 2 ferrero rocher chocolates. everything that this envelope contained was everything i needed. it may seem as if the items were irrelevant, but to me they were a sign to let go, to move on, and to be happy. this envelope was the best way a friend could say "you're ok."
